Declaration of the Assembly of the WPCCaracas, April 9-10, 2008 The Assembly of the World Peace Council was successfully held on April 9-10, 2008 in Caracas, Venezuela, with the participation of 265 delegates and 285 participants from 124 Organisations from 76 countries. After a rich and very fruitful discussion the participants of the Assembly concluded with the following declaration to the peoples of the world: Communique of the Meeting of Balkan Peace MovementsFollowing the Meeting of Balkan Peace Movements held in Thessaloniki on March 1-2, 2008 on the initiative of the Greek Committee for International Détente and Peace (EEDYE) with the support of the World Peace Council (WPC), attended by representatives of ten organizations from eight countries in the region (Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine) as well as a delegation from the World Peace Council (WPC), a communiqué was issued after a fruitful exchange of views, concluding with the following points: Balkan Peace ConferenceContribution of the Peace Association of Turkey Thessaloniki, 1-2 March 2008 After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, imperialistic aggression entered a new phase. The first main target was the Balkans. Wars that lasted almost throughout the whole 1990’s ended tragically with the disintegration of Yugoslavia. Ortadoğu Barış Konferansı Sonuç Bildirgesiİstanbul, Türkiye 12-13 Ocak, 2008 Dünya Barış Konseyi ve Barış Derneği tarafından ortaklaşa düzenlenen Ortadoğu Barış Konferansı Bildirgesi14 Avrupa ve Ortadoğu ülkesinden 16 Barış Örgütü temsilcisi İstanbul’da bir araya gelerek, verimli bir tartışma gerçekleştirdiler ve ardından aşağıdaki bildirgeyi kaleme aldılar: |
